| C H A R A C T E R & As the eldest son of the Western royal family, Akanishi Jin has spent most his childhood in the very kingdom many still view with certain suspicion and wariness – the Western Kingdom, whose past had been infamously marred by its violent wage of dominion upon the other kingdoms during the Great War. As a child, it was difficult to associate the young Jin with a kingdom fraud with a dark past. He was strong-willed, skilled in combat, infectiously charming and brash but with a kind heart always seeking to protect those that he loves. Never one to be very academically-inclined, he has, admittedly earned himself a soft reputation of being a fun-loving airhead sometimes. In recent years, with the approaching burden of an uncertain destiny yet with its path already set in stone, |
B A C K G R O U N D the boyish Prince has matured into a more reserved person. Once bright eyes replaced with steely resolve, down-to-earth honesty and bravery instead of brashness. Jin is also more intelligent and intuitive than most people give him credit for, though he rather chooses to not show it. Otherwise, he still remains as the devil-may-care-ishly handsome and spirited young man people all know him to be. Nothing much has changed… or has it? Currently Jin has no interest in ruling, nor does he desire any otherworldly powers and Gems. However, he now fully understands and accepts his role as the First Prince of the West, despite his initial unwillingness. The duty he must take primarily upon himself to rebuilt the former glory and prestige of his kingdom and in matters closer to heart, protect the very place that he fiercely calls home - at all costs. |
